European Alliance for SMC BMC elects new Steering Committee
The European Alliance for SMC BMC has been very active in recent years to promote SMC BMC composite materials. With the successful completion of the SMC BMC Design Award 2019, the European Alliance is now set for another stage of activities to highlight the great benefits of SMC and BMC, and the use of these versatile materials in end-use markets like transportation, building, consumer, and electrical.
The General Assembly of the European Alliance for SMC BMC has elected a new Steering Committee to drive these activities the coming years, consisting of:
- Joan Montobbio, Menzolit (Chairman)
- Thomas Wegman, AOC (Vice-chairman, Marketing Lead)
- Franck Gubler, Johns Manville
- Markus Schiffmann, Polynt
- Paul Truffy, Owens Corning
The new team will be preparing for the SMC BMC Design Award 2022 as well as for several additional events to bring SMC and BMC closer to designers and engineers.
